Indoor air quality
Some Facts About Your Indoor Air Did you know that your indoor air is actually more polluted than the air outside? In fact, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the air you breathe in your home could be two to five times, even 100 times more polluted than the “fresh” air outside.
Many people underestimate the make-up of their indoor air. While dust, pet dander and pollen are a concern, the chemicals and toxins that are present in indoor air can lead to serious health problems. Imagine if your water was teeming with particles and chemicals? Wouldn’t you choose to clean it? The same care must be taken with the air we breathe.
Superior Filtration Technology Not all air purifiers are created equal.
Some air purifiers are made to handle only particles. Others treat only odors or gasses. Effective, stylish and compact, our air purifiers are designed to handle every possible indoor air quality problem, from high particulate matter to potentially toxic chemical gasses and strong odors.
Some air purifiers deliberately manufacture ozone to neutralize airborne particles, even though health officials have raised concerns about the potential danger of inhaling ozone gas. Our units produce zero ozone and are more effective than ozone-producing air purifiers.
Some air purifiers include interior parts made from materials that are known to off-gas and/or cause allergic reactions. These units use only non-allergenic, non-off-gassing parts.
Five Stages of Filtration Our air purifiers feature a five-stage filtration process:
- A pre-filter to capture large particles
- A medical grade HEPA filter guaranteed to trap 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns
- An activated carbon filter with pounds of granular virgin carbon to filter out chemicals, gases and odors
- Two anti-microbial filters
- An optional UV germicidal lamp for added sterilization
